Y’all ready for the return of “Dexter” this September?! Or has the show long jumped the shark in your opinion?

Well, to get you further pumped (if you were already), a new promo trailer for the season 7 return is something you can locate below. Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter are featured prominently, as is a blood-dappled knife blade. There’s also some voice-over dealing with Dexy’s embattled conscience. Think he’ll make amends by season’s end?
