Scope out this eerie new image from the set of the Carrie remake

Courtesy of the films titular lead, Chloe Grace Moretz, a spooky new black and white set photo from the remake of CARRIE has been posted online through Instagram. I like how the film is keeping with the mother’s religious fanaticism, and I love Julianne Moore, but damn that Piper Laurie turn is legendarily insurmountable. Still, cop a gander at the mysterious image below!

CARRIE, from director Kimberly Peirce, is a reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.

Judy Greer, Gabriella Wilde, Portia Doubleday, Alex Russell, Ansel Elgort, Cynthia Preston and Michelle Noldon also star in the flick.
