Who does it better than Scream Factory? No one! That's who. While we already have a slew of exciting titles to look forward to over the next few months (including SLEEPAWAY CAMP, RAVENOUS, THE SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE and more), those crazy cats over at Scream Factory are staying busy solidifying other titles to thier catalogue to bring to us, and today we've learned that the rare and long-lost 1985 exploitation film HELLHOLE will be seeing a Blu-ray release this summer.
Scream Factory took to their Facebook page to announce the upcoming release of Pierre De Moro's 1985 experiment in horror that stars Mary Woronov (NIGHT OF THE COMET), Ray Sharkey (THE IDOLMAKER), Marjoe Gortner (FOOD OF THE GODS) and Judy Landers ("BJ & The Bear").
An unlucky woman's mother is murdered by a scarf-wielding killer named Silk, leaving the woman injured, traumatised and suffering from amnesia. She's committed to a mental institution, where Silk follows her, looking for the papers he was trying to get from her mother. And Silk's only the beginning of her problems, since the asylum is run by a mad doctor, performing experiments in chemical lobotomies!
Scream Factory has shared that pre-order links should go up sometime in March, with any extras they may have to be announced in April. I'm looking forward to peeping this release as I've never seen it but vividly remember the VHS cover haunting me from the shelves as a youngster.
