Scream Factory is in the process of delivering gifts to horror fans like some kind of ghoulish Santa Claus. With releases including HALLOWEEN II, THEY LIVE, THE FUN HOUSE and TERROR TRAIN, the DVD distributor is allowing us to see some of these thrillers as they've never been seen before.

Now they've just revealed two more titles that they'll be cleaning up, the hard to come by 80s flicks TERRORVISION and THE NEST. According to their Facebook page, TERRORVISION has never been on DVD format before and THE NEST has never been released in a widescreen presentation.

THE NEST kicks off when a biological experiment goes haywire when meat-eating mutant roaches invade an island community, terrorizing a peaceful New England fishing village and hideously butchering its citizens.

Meanwhile, TERRORVISION focuses on what happens after the Puttermans install a satellite television dish and it begins receiving powerful transmissions from deep space. Eventually, a hideous alien life form is also beamed down into their household. One of the Puttermans has an idea about what's happening to them, but since he's just a kid, no one's paying attention.

No special features have been revealed for the DVD releases; the release date is similarly a mystery. But at least we know they're on the horizon.

Extra Tidbit: Have you seen either TERRORVISION of THE NEST?

SWEET! I remember watching Terror Vision on tv one halloween night back in the 90's! Fun movie! The best thing about the movie is the creature, which was done pretty well! TV! TV! LOL! As far as it not being on dvd before I'm not too sure about that. I know they sell it on Amazon, but maybe that's just the video tape version. I'm also pretty sure I saw it at Walmart a few months ago in their cheap movie bin.
