Back in January we hit you with the news that Scream Factory would be bringing us Antonia Bird's 1999 cult classic cannibal tale RAVENOUS to Blu-ray. We were excited to see this weird little flick that is filled with solid acting and some very dark humor getting some respect, and today we've learned what bonus features we can expect on this June 3 release.

Scream Factory has announced that the RAVENOUS Blu-ray will come stacked with enough bonus features to quell even the most vigorous of appetites, including:

  • New interview with Actor Jeffrey Jones
  • Commentary With Director Antonia Bird And Composer Damon Albarn
  • Commentary With Screenwriter Ted Griffin And Jeffrey Jones
  • Commentary With Actor Robert Carlyle
  • Deleted Scenes With Commentary By Antonia Bird
  • Theatrical Trailer & TV Spot
  • Two Still Galleries – Costume Design And Production Design

Here's what RAVENOUS is about:

Captain John Boyd has been sent to a remote outpost in Sierra Nevada following a military disgrace in the Mexican-American War. There, his group run into Colqhoun, a starving and half-frozen Scottish traveler who tells a wild tale of cannibalism. His group, it seems, was led astray by a guide, snowed into a cave, and finally descended to eating one another. He fled from the evil Colonel Ives. Boyd determines to apprehend Ives, but when he follows Colqhoun back to the cave, events take a more dangerous turn, and Colqhoun turns out to be not quite all he claimed to be.

Directed by Antonia Bird (who replaced original director Milcho Manchevski) and co-starring Jeffrey Jones, John Spencer, Jeremy Davies and David Arquette, RAVENOUS hits shelves June 3 and can be pre-ordered HERE.

Extra Tidbit: Will you be picking up RAVENOUS on Blu-ray?
