One project I'm personally looking forward to is Marcus Dunstan's THE COLLECTION. The reason being is because I really enjoyed THE COLLECTOR and dug the hell out of it's titular villain, so I can't wait to see him in action again!

Unfortunately today's update isn't really anything worth getting excited about but at least things are moving forward! You see COLLECTION scribe Patrick Melton decided to 'tweet' a small little update on the film for the world to see. Check it:

"Final days of sound mix on #thecollection"

With that tiny update he included the picture you see directly below. Like I said - Not really exciting but nice to see things rolling.

Arkin escapes with his life from the vicious grips of "The Collector" during an entrapment party where he adds beautiful Elena to his "Collection." Instead of recovering from the trauma, Arkin is suddenly abducted from the hospital by mercenaries hired by Elena's wealthy father. Arkin is blackmailed to team up with the mercenaries and track down The Collector's booby trapped hide out and save Elena from his sadistic rituals. "The Collection" is a perfect cocktail of primal horror and action suspense thriller in real 3D.

THE COLLECTION, which is still without a release date, stars Josh Stewart, Johnny Yong Bosch, Emma Fitzpatrick, Shannon Kane (below), Tim Griffin, William Peltz, Eaddy Mays, Michael Nardelli, Justin Mortelliti, Michael H. Cole, Arloa Reston, Courtney Lauren Cummings, Lee Tergesen and Christopher McDonald.

Extra Tidbit: Aside from THE COLLECTOR the only other project I recognize Josh Stewart from is that FX series "Dirt."

Loved the first one, was an unexpected gem. Re spilled blood : i also recognise him from Curious case of Benjamin Button and another short lived tv show No Ordinary Family (i really only started watching for Julie Benz)
