Searching starring John Cho hits Blu-ray this November

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

I'm sure you all know this about me at this point, but I love a good found footage flick. I have nothing against the subgenre and some of the scariest movies I have ever seen have been found footage. So it makes a bit of sense then that I'm looking forward to checking out Aneesh Chaganty's SEARCHING (pre-order HERE) starring John Cho (THE EXORCIST).

I missed the film in theaters, but no worries as today we just got word that Sony will be releasing the movie on Digital HD and on Blu-ray and DVD this November. Cho's co-stars include Debra Messing, Joseph Lee, and Michelle La. It begins:

After David Kim (John Cho)’s 16-year-old daughter goes missing, a local investigation is opened and a detective is assigned to the case. But 37 hours later and without a single lead, David decides to search the one place no one has looked yet, where all secrets are kept today: his daughter’s laptop. In a hyper-modern thriller told via the technology devices we use every day to communicate, David must trace his daughter’s digital footprints before she disappears forever.
