Seventh Son and The Boy Next Door get release dates

Universal has had a pretty busy day today as they have not only announced the release date of their upcoming reboot of THE MUMMY, but they've dished out dates for both SEVENTH SON (above) and THE BOY NEXT DOOR as well! You'll find all the goods below and hopefully a couple of flicks to look forward to.

First up is Sergei Bodrov’s SEVENTH SON which has been slated for a February 6, 2015 release date. The film stars Jeff Bridges, Julianne Moore, Ben Barnes, Alicia Vikander, Kit Harington, Antje Traue, and Olivia Williams. The film is an 18th century adventure story centered on young Thomas, who is apprenticed to the local Spook to learn to fight evil spirits. His first great challenge comes when the powerful Mother Malkin escapes her confinement while the Spook is away.

Next we have the upcoming Blumhouse thriller, THE BOY NEXT DOOR, which explores a forbidden attraction that goes much too far. Directed by Rob Cohen, the psychological thriller sees Jennifer Lopez (below) lead the cast of Ryan Guzman, John Corbett, and Kristin Chenoweth. It was written by Barbara Curry.
