I don’t know if it feels more like the mid-80s or the late 90s, but slasher flicks are once again all the rage in horror. FRIDAY THE 13TH and MY BLOODY VALENTINE have slaughtered the box office, and SORORITY ROW is certainly hoping to continue the trend when it comes out in the fall. There’s no reason it shouldn’t do well, considering its plethora of hotties and its fun storyline and having been on the set, I can vouch for both.

When five sorority girls inadvertently cause the murder of one of their sisters in a prank gone wrong, they agree to keep the matter to themselves and never speak of it again, so they can get on with their lives. This proves easier said than done, when after graduation a mysterious killer goes after the five of them and anyone who knows their secret…

For those of you who hold the original film (HOUSE ON SORORITY ROW) near and dear to their hearts, don’t look for this to be very faithful. Aside from the basic idea (prank gone wrong gets someone killed), there’s very little the two flicks will have in common.
