Stephen King’s IT: Chapter 2 begins filming this summer?

The last word we brought you guys on the upcoming second part of director Andres Muschietti's adaptation of STEPHEN KING'S IT was to let you know that Jessica Chastain is interested in taking on the role of adult Beverly Marsh. Today we have an unconfirmed rumor via Omega Underground that IT: CHAPTER 2 will begin filming on June 18th and that stage work will take place at Pinewood Toronto Studios.

Again, none of this has been confirmed at this time, but if this rumor is true, then we can only assume we will be hearing news on just who is going to be playing the adult Loser's Club soon-ish. IT synopsis:

A group of young kids faces their biggest fears when they seek answers to the disappearance of children in their hometown of Derry, Maine. They square off against an evil clown named Pennywise, whose history of murder and violence dates back for centuries.

IT is directed by Andrés Muschietti from a script by Chase Palmer & Cary Joji Fukunaga and Gray Dauberman, based on the novel by Stephen King. The film stars Jaeden Lieberher, Sophia Lillis, Finn Wolfhard, Wyatt Oleff, Jack Dylan Grazer, Jeremy Ray Taylor, Chosen Jacobs, Nicholas Hamilton, Owen Teague, Javier Botet, Steven Williams, and Bill Skarsgård as Pennywise the Dancing Clown.

IT: Chapter 2 hits theaters September 6th, 2019
