Stephen King’s IT running time revealed

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

It was just last week that we shared with you guys the all-new, terrifying trailer for the upcoming feature adaptation of STEPHEN KING'S IT. Not only that but if you had your eyes out you may have caught the nod to Tim Curry's Pennywise hidden in there as well.

If last week's IT news wasn't enough, today we have word that the new film will run 2 hrs. and 15 mins., or for those not so good at time-math, that's 135 mins all said and done.

Much more than THE DARK TOWER's lean 95 minutes.

Personally, I'd sit through another 3-hour version of IT no problem. Just the kid's part of the tale or not. I'm thinking the days of Peter Jackson-style Extended Cuts on Blu-ray may be behind us, but I'd kill for another hour or two once the film hits disc. And I haven't even seen the damn theatrical cut yet.

But, in general, the more IT the better.
