Last Updated on August 2, 2021

It was almost a year ago when we told you about the upcoming supernatural thriller SOULMATE, which was being presented by Neil Marshall and was written and directed by Marshall's CENTURION and DOOMSDAY actress (and his real life 'soulmate') Axelle Carolyn. Now Screen Daily is reporting that the film is set to make its premiere later this month at the Sitges International Film Festival to be followed by global sales at this years American Film Market (AFM). Hopefully that means we'll be hearing some news soon on when we will be able to check this cool-sounding flick out.

The supernatural thriller stars Anna Walton (HELLBOY 2), Tom Wisdom (300), Nick Brimble (A KNIGHT'S TALE) and Emma Cleasby (Marhsall's DOG SOLDIERS) and marks the feature debut of director Carolyn.

Soulmate follows a young woman who retreats to a remote cottage after a failed suicide attempt.  She soon discovers the cottage is haunted by its previous owner but decides to remain, hoping to find comfort in the ghost.

The film is produced by Claire Otway and is a Neil Marshall presentation for production company Sterling Pictures. Executive producers on the film are Michael Riley, John Wolstenholme and Doug Abbott for Screen Projex, alongside Belgian co-producer Title Media.
