Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Is anybody surprised? Let’s be serious here…

A post-apocalyptic series from J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke. Who in their right mind wouldn’t pick this up?! That’s right folks, I’m talking about “Revolution” and how NBC just snatched this shite up! NBC made their first frosh drama series order from its pilot development slate with “Revolution,” which has Bad Robot’s Bryan Burk producing alongside Abrams (right) and Kripke.

A family struggles to reunite in a post-apocalyptic American landscape: a world of empty cities, local militias and heroic freedom fighters, where every single piece of technology — computers, planes, cars, phones, even lights — has mysteriously blacked out … forever.

Jon Favreau directed the pilot episode for “Revolution,” which will star David Lyons, Tim Guinee, Zak Orth, Tracy Spiridakos (below), Maria Howell, Graham Rodgers, Giancarlo Esposito and Anna Lise Phillips. There’s no telling when the show will be hitting the air but you can bet we’ll keep you updated on that one.
