Taylor Kitsch to take Exit 147

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Taylor Kitsch, who broke out with his portrayal of troubled high school football star Tim Riggins on NBC’s acclaimed television series “Friday Night Lights” and later appeared in the subpar BATTLESHIP and the better-than-expected JOHN CARTER, is about to shed his pretty-boy image by appearing in the serial killer thriller EXIT 147, from director Julian Jarrold.

Bloody Disgusting had the exclusive word that Kitsch had signed on to the project, described as a horror-thriller

about a man driving across the desert at night who is arrested by a small town sheriff (Kitsch) and held captive as part of his own sadistic game.

The script is being written by Travis Milloy (PANDORUM). Jarrold previously directed RED RIDING 1974, an English TV movie about a young reporter (Andrew Garfield) trying to find information on a series of missing girls.

Seems like EXIT 147 has an interesting enough premise, so we’ll have to wait and see what develops on this project in terms of who will be joining Kitsch on this journey. We’ll keep you updated as we hear it!
