Telltale Games working with Netflix on a Stranger Things video game

Stranger Things Netflix

I watch the Walking Dead TV shows on AMC (and review them here on Arrow in the Head), but have never played the Walking Dead video games that have been developed and published by Telltale Games. A friend of mine is the opposite; he doesn't watch the shows, but he's always raving to me about how amazing those Telltale video games are.

I've heard such positive word of mouth about those, I count it as good news that Telltale has made a deal with Netflix to produce a game based on the streaming service's hit series Stranger Things.

No details on the game have been revealed, other than the fact that it will be released for consoles and PCs, and is not some kind of game that will be playable through Netflix like the "choose your own adventure" interactive shows that are already on the streaming service. Telltale and Netflix are working together on a Minecraft game that will be released that way.

I'm looking forward to finding out what the story of the Stranger Things game will be, and which characters from the show might be in it. If this game is anywhere near as good as my friend says the Walking Dead games are, this seems like a great deal for Stranger Things fans.
