I guess it's fitting for a flick dealing with time travel to not waste time. It's barely been two days since we've seen the international trailer for Rian Johnson's LOOPER and already there's a fresh US trailer. But hey, who's complaining? Especially given that this new one offers some cool new footage of Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt battling it out. See it for yourself below.

In the futuristic action thriller Looper, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a "looper" – a hired gun, like Joe – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good... until the day they decide to "close the loop", sending back Joe's future self for assassination.

Starring Bruce Willis, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jeff Daniels and Emily Blunt (below), LOOPER warps into theaters on September 28th.

Extra Tidbit: How do you think this trailer matches up against the previous one?

I wasn't totally wild about THE BROTHER'S BLOOM, but I liked it. BRICK just sold me right off the bat. And this film, holy shit, may be proof that Rian Johnson ought to just stick with JGL from here on out.

Not that he doesn't have the talent on his own, but add two great things into a mix and you're bound to get something close to perfect.
