M. Night Shyamalan's next trip into the horror genre will be his mysterious low-budget thriller SUNDOWNING, and while details have been tightly under wraps we did manage to catch a glimpse at the rest of the cast. But before you go any further, realize that this casting news is coming straight from IMDb so take this shit with a grain of salt, will ya!
Joining the previously announced Kathryn Hahn and Ed Oxenbould is Erica Lynne Marszalek, Peter McRobbie, Olivia DeJonge, Deanna Dunagan, Benjamin Kanes, Jon Douglas Rainey, Brian Gildea, Shawn Gonzalez, Richard Barlow, Steve Annan, and Michael Mariano. Hahn plays a single mother whose two young children visit their grandparents… and things go very wrong. Oxenbould plays her son, who is protective of his sister.
No further details have been given on this one, folks, but hopefully we'll be hearing more on SUNDOWNING soon. Shyamalan is producing with Marc Bienstock and Ashwin Rajan, while Steven Schneider of Room 101 is executive producing. Production has nearly wrapped in Shyamalan's home base of Pennsylvania. More to come!
