The Conjuring 2 teases its teaser

01.06.2016by: Brennan Klein

THE CONJURING: THE ENFIELD POLTERGEIST is gearing up for the release of its teaser trailer tomorrow, so because this is the Internet-obsessed year of 2016, we have received a teaser teaser to get us excited for the teaser. I don't pretend like I understand it, I just write it. The teaser is mostly footage from the classic clap moment in the original film, but the extended Portuguese cut features a little bit of location footage from the new film, along with some eerie nighttime happenings. Check it out below!

In THE CONJURING 2:

Paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren travel to 1977 England to help single mom Peggy Hodgson and her four children, particularly daughter Janet (played by Madison Wolfe).

Along with Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga returning as the Warrens, the cast includes Frances O’Connor (A. I.) as a single mother, newbies Patrick McAuley and Benjamin Haigh joining Lauren Esposito and Madison Wolfe as her children, and Maria Doyle Kennedy (Orphan Black), Simon Delaney (Roy), Franka Potente (RUN LOLA RUN), and Simon McBurney (MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: ROGUE NATION).

THE CONJURING 2, directed by James Wan and written by Wan, Carey & Chad Hayes, and David Leslie Johnson, will haunt theaters on June 10, 2016.

Extra Tidbit: Do you feel teased by this teaser teaser?

Nope. It doesn't do it for me. The fact that the teaser relies on That scary scene of The Conjuring 1 is as if The Conjuring 2 isn't confident that it's scary enough.
