Alien: Covenant Ridley Scott

A few days ago, we shared an image from Ridley Scott's upcoming film ALIEN: COVENANT that showed the crew of the space ship Covenant traipsing through a location that didn't look all that pleasant. Now, thanks to Empire, we have another image that shows the crew's landing spot on a planet they have been lured to by a distress beacon.

The previous image was captioned "Paradise", but this one is much more paradisiacal.

Written by Michael Green, Jack Paglen, and John Logan, ALIEN: COVENANT is a sequel to PROMETHEUS and a prequel to ALIEN. It's about what happens when

the crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world.  When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.

Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Billy Crudup, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, Carmen Ejogo, Amy Seimetz, Jussie Smollett, Callie Hernandez, Nathaniel Dean, Alexander England, Benjamin Rigby, James Franco, and Noomi Rapace star. Guy Pearce might make an appearance as well.

ALIEN: COVENANT is scheduled to reach theatres on May 19th.
