Nice! It was only a few weeks back that we shared the news with you guys that the producers of THE CONJURING were looking to create yet another spin-off series from the film with THE CROOKED MAN.

Anyhow, today we have word via THR, that THE CROOKED MAN will be getting his own film!
Yes, THE CROOKED MAN will be joining ANNABELLE and THE NUN within The Conjuring Universe. The script will be written by Mike Van Waes from a story by James Wan. Van Waes is a name you may remember from a few months back as the writer who pitched New Line a horror film set within the world of THE WIZARD OF OZ.
Wan and Peter Safran are producing The Crooked Man, the next chapter in the ever-growing Conjuring universe, which again includes THE NUN which is set to hit theaters July 13th, 2018 and ANNABELLE: CREATION which hits August 11th.
