The F*cking Black Sheep: Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh (VIDEO)

Having recently made honorable cases for BLACK CHRISTMAS and THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE: THE NEXT GENERATION, our champion of under-appreciated sequels Lance Vlcek is here to make a case for the sequel to CANDYMAN.

Director Bill Condon's CANDYMAN: FAREWELL TO THE FLESH has gathered more than it's fair share of haters over the years, but Lance has a different perspective. Does he illustrate some good points and give CANDYMAN: FAREWELL TO THE FLESH a new lease on life? We'll leave that for you to find out!

CANDYMAN: FARWELL TO THE FLESH synopsis:

As her brother stands trial for the killing of an outspoken New Orleans professor, inner-city schoolteacher Annie Tarrant (Kelly Rowan) begins hearing rumors of the Candyman (Tony Todd), a murderous, knife-handed figure of urban legend. Skeptical of the Candyman's existence, Annie follows the procedure for summoning him and suddenly finds herself celebrating the most horrifying Mardi Gras of her life. Meanwhile, Annie's mother (Veronica Cartwright) harbors a dark family secret.

The film is directed by Bill Condon from a script by Rand Ravich and Mark Kruger from a story by Clive Barker and stars Tony Todd, Kelly Rowan, William O'Leary, Bill Nunn, Matt Clark and Veronica Cartwright.
