The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo nabs an almost 4 minute trailer, reveals plot details

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

The wait is over as the first full-length trailer for David Fincher’s adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s novel THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO is here.

Earlier this year we were treated to a teaser trailer, and recently an 8-minute teaser was shown to some select few people. But for those of who missed out on seeing that shouldn’t worry too much as this new trailer goes for almost 4-minutes long. It isn’t really a tease so much as it is there to introduce characters and more importantly the plot.

On a side note (and I haven’t read the book or seen the original film yet), Daniel Craig’s Mikael Blomkvist does not sport a Swedish accent and everyone else appears to. I want to know what’s up with that, and I hope it doesn’t bother me during the film. So what are you waiting for, check the trailer out below.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is the first film in Columbia Pictures’ three-picture adaptation of Stieg Larsson’s literary blockbuster The Millennium Trilogy. Directed by David Fincher and starring Daniel Craig and Rooney Mara, the film is based on the first novel in the trilogy, which altogether have sold 50 million copies in 46 countries and become a worldwide phenomenon. The screenplay is by Steven Zaillian.

Due out December 21st, THE GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO stars Daniel Craig, Rooney Mara, Stellan Skarsgård, Christopher Plummer, Robin Wright, Embeth Davidtz, Joely Richardson and Steven Berkoff.
