The Predator set pics show us Boyd Holbrook, a tank, and a dead body

Filming is currently underway on Shane Black's reboot of PREDATOR, and it was only a matter of time before someone slipped up and a few set pics landed on our lap.

Well, that day is today, and while the pics are nothing mind-blowing (no Predator on set yet, folks) they do give us a good look at a tank, a few of our lead characters, and a dead body with, what looks to be, the f*cking face ripped off!

Nice.

Rumor has it THE PREDATOR takes place in suburbia this time around (and probably at Christmas-time as well because this is Shane Black we're talking about here) and that idea sounds awesome to me. However, this looks to be some other country perhaps?

But that doesn't mean what we're seeing isn't the film's prologue or the soldier's backstory where we see them kickin' ass in some damn place before going toe-to-toe with the ugly motherf*cker himself.

THE PREDATOR is directed by Shane Black and co-written by Black and Fred Dekker (THE MONSTER SQUAD). The film stars Boyd Holbrook, Jacob Tremblay, Yvonne Strahovski (see below), Olivia Munn, Keegan-Michael Key, Sterling K. Brown, Trevante Rhodes, Thomas Jane, Alfie Allen, Augusto Aguilera, Jake Busey, and Edward James Olmos.
