It's slow news 'round this time of year - everyone is busy preparing their drunken hijinx for the evening - so stick with us while we toss some fluff your way. Besides, this fluff deals with "The Walking Dead", and that's always fun to talk about.
WARNING: Don't read further if you've not seen Season Four yet.
This particular rumor deals with The Governor, played by David Morrissey, who of course bit the dust (it certainly looked like) during the mid-season finale. Catching up with Mr. Morrissey, PA (via Zap2It) asked the actor if he was going to be "returning" to the show in some capacity. Here's his response:
Something happened to him. I feel like a shady politician where I can't confirm and I can't deny anything," he hedges. "Certainly, bad things befell him at the end of the last episode but we just have to wait and see."
Okay, so this really could end up being a whole lot of nothing. But let's not forget that characters have a way of returning on this show, and not just in zombie form (I'm thinking Lori and Shane's brief reappearances). Besides, we didn't see The Governor die exactly, did we?
What do you think?
