The Walking Dead will close out season 6 with a 90 minute finale

Last Updated on July 31, 2021

Season 6 of The Walking Dead will be drawing to a close on April 3rd at 9 PM on AMC. However, fans of the undead drama will be relieved to know that the season's end will be prolonged, pushing that empty hiatus feeling back by another half hour. The finale will be spanning an hour and a half rather than the typical hour, presumably using its extra time to really rub in the wickedness of Negan, the villainous character who is reported to be introduced before the season's end.

Who knows what horrible acts he might be able to perpetrate with all that extra time? You only have to wait two weeks to find out! Below, check out a sneak peek of the penultimate episode, entitled "East."

In "East":

When someone goes missing in Alexandria, the community goes on alert, and search parties venture out.

The Walking Dead stars Andrew Lincoln, Steven Yeun, Norman Reedus, Chandler Riggs, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Melissa McBride, Sonequa-Martin Green, Michael Cudlitz, Merritt Wever, Xander Berkeley, and Tom Payne, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Alicia Witt, and Xander Berkeley.
