This clip from the Cabin Fever remake gets sick all over the place

Last Updated on July 22, 2021

For those of you hoping that Travis Zariwny's 14 years later CABIN FEVER remake would be more than a shot for shot reconstruction of Eli Roth's original, this new clip isn't exactly promising. It's essentially the same truck scene from the original, except with prettier actors who are way less into it.

Notice that the promise of "all new characters and all new kills" doesn't necessarily promise three-dimensional characters. Let's hope that they at least live up to their promise on the "kills" end of the bargain, which could be the final saving grace of this wholly unnecessary film. Check out the clip below and see for yourself!

This story is familiar: fresh out of college, a group of five friends retreat to a remote cabin in the woods for one last week of partying- only to become snacks for a gruesome, flesh-eating virus. What’s surprising are the ingenious new deaths, which offer a fresh spin on a horror-comedy milestone.

IFC Midnight will release CABIN FEVER in theaters in NY and LA on February 12th. It stars Gage Golightly, Dustin Ingram, Nadine Crocker, Matthew Daddario & Samuel Davis.
