It's been a couple months since we heard that Lupita Nyong'o, Winston Duke, and Elisabeth Moss would be starring in US, the new social thriller from Oscar-winning GET OUT writer/director Jordan Peele, so it's about time we heard some more casting news for the film. Making up for lost time, there have been three new casting announcements made.

The first announcement revealed that comedian Tim Heidecker, who makes up one half of the comedy duo Tim and Eric and can currently be seen in theatres making a very quick cameo in ANT-MAN AND THE WASP, has an unspecified role in US.

Close on the heels of that announcement comes the news that Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (pictured above), whose credits include THE GREATEST SHOWMAN and the Netflix series The Get Down, and Anna Diop, of 24: Legacy and the upcoming DC Comics series Titans, have also signed on to be in the film.

The story of US is being kept secret, but it is known that it deals with

two couples, one white, one black.

BLACK PANTHER co-stars Nyong'o and Duke make up one of the couples, while The Handmaid's Tale's Moss is one half of the other couple.

Peele is producing the film through his company Monkeypaw Productions, alongside Jason Blum, Sean McKittrick, and Ian Cooper.

Universal will be releasing US into theatres on March 15, 2019.
