Timothy Olyphant joins Tarantino’s new film

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Manson?

Over the years I have become more and more of a fan of Timothy Olyphant. Like many of you fellow horror fans out there, for the longest time, Olyphant was always just "that guy who played Mickey in Wes Craven's SCREAM 2".

But over the years since, the man has impressed time and time again in such neo-classics as THE GIRL NEXT DOOR, JUSTIFIED, and my new personal favorite of his Netflix's SANTA CLARITA DIET.

And if you're a fan of the Olphyant like all of us here at AITH, then you'll be pleased to know he has just joined the cast of none other than Quentin Tarantino's upcoming Charles Manson-ish movie ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD. Olyphant will be joining the film's stars Leonardo Dicaprio and Brad Pitt along with the recently announced ensemble of Michael Madsen, Kurt Russell, Tim Roth, and Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate.

No word on if Olyphant is playing Manson or not…

All jokes and wishful thinking regarding Timothy taking on the role of Manson aside, there is currently no word on just who he will be playing. So I guess all's fair in hoping like hell that he plays the recently deceased cult leader – for no other reason than he would positively kill the role of Manson.

We'll keep you up to date on if this happens, or merely stays in the mind of Mike as a tragically missed opportunity, as the film progresses. Until then stay tuned!
