Among the many reasons I can’t wait to see Christopher Nolan’s third and final Batman movie, possibly the most important is getting to see Tom Hardy tear shit up as the manacing Bane. For those who share my sentiment, Total Film prepared a nice little surprise to brighten up our day – a brand new image from THE DARK KNIGHT RISES, showing Bane in all his masked, creepy-eyed splendor. When Commissioner Gordon stumbles upon a plot to destroy the city from within, Bruce Wayne gets back into action as the Batman. Waiting for him is the mysterious Selina Kyle and Bane, a lethal adversary on a crusade to tear apart Batman’s legacy piece by piece.
As if you didn’t already know, THE DARK KNIGHT RISES stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anne Hathaway (below), Michael Caine, Morgan Freeman, Gary Oldman, Josh Stewart, Matthew Modine and Juno Temple. It will annihilate a theater near you on July 20th.
