Trailer and first details for David Blyth’s supernatural horror flick Wound

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

A supernatural horror film that explores the dark worlds of mental illness, incest, revenge and death? I’m already frightened!

So we just landed the first details and initial trailer for David Blyth’s WOUND, the newest flick from the polemic Kiwi director behind such flicks as THE HORROR SHOW, MY GRANDPA IS A VAMPIRE and ANGEL MINE. Dreamlike, surreal, downright fu*ked up…I doubt you’ll wanna miss this new look!

Written by Blyth himself, WOUND follows Tanya (Ta Kaea Beri) as she searches for the mother she has never met – Susan (Kate O’Rourke) who gave her up for dead after being abused by her own father. Tanya returns from the dead to confront and possess Susan with all her deepest fears and desires, sending Susan into a state of madness and gore filled retribution.

Ah man, that sounds beautiful. Like some old skeezy Italian 70s flick. Love it!

WOUND also stars Sandy Lowe, Ian Mune and Kate O’Rourke. The flick looks to screen at the Montreal Fantasia Festival in July.

Stay up for more!

Just Because!
