Message from the King Chadwick Boseman Fabrice Du Welz

In CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR, Chadwick Boseman played a man from Africa who was on a mission to avenge the death of a loved one, in that case his father. The South Carolina native will again be playing an African man out for revenge in MESSAGE FROM THE KING, the latest film from CALVAIRE / ALLELUIA director Fabrice Du Welz. But this time around, Boseman's character isn't Marvel superhero Black Panther or the King of Wakanda. In MESSAGE FROM THE KING, he is

Jacob King, a man who comes to Los Angeles to find his sister Bianca, who has suddenly lost contact with him. Tracking her movements leads him to a seedy underbelly of crime and drugs where some dangerous people aren’t very happy that he’s trying to find out what happened to Bianca. But King isn’t easily intimated by this band of thugs.

Boseman's co-stars include Alfred Molina, Luke Evans, Teresa Palmer, Tom Felton, and Natalie Martinez.

MESSAGE FROM THE KING doesn't have a U.S. release date yet, but the film will be released in France next month. A NSFW trailer can be seen below.

Our own Chris Bumbray was able to see the movie at the Toronto International Film Festival last year and gave it a 7/10 review.
