Trailer for Twilight Zone-style anthology Locker 13, starring Jon Gries

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Anthology films are hot right now and if you're anything like me and dig a wicked anthology flick then you'll probably wanna check out this trailer for a film that provides further evidence of how unlucky the number 13 is.

On tap for ya this morning we have the trailer for the "Twilight Zone"-style anthology LOCKER 13, which is set to hit limited theaters, iTunes, Google, and other platforms tomorrow, March 28, before making its way to DVD in April.

Five directors (including Bruce Dellis, Jason Marsden, Matthew Mebane, Adam Montierth, and Donovan Montierth) and eight screenwriters collaborated to bring us LOCKER 13, a wicked anthology comprised of five vignettes, each connected by the mysterious titular locker. The film stars Ricky Schroder, Jon Gries, Rick Hoffman, Krista Allen, Tatyana Ali, Jason Marsden, Curtis Armstrong, Bart Johnson, Jon Polito, and Jason Spisak in a tale revolving around…

Skip (Jason Spisak, "The Vampire Diaries"), a young ex-convict who takes a position as a night janitor at an old-west theme park. His supervisor Archie (Jon Gries of NAPOLEON DYNAMITE), teaches him the ropes, but more importantly attempts to convey critical philosophical messages through a series of four stories: a down and out boxer (Ricky Schroder, "NYPD Blue", "Silver Spoons", THE CHAMP) is given the opportunity to become a real golden gloves killer; an assassin (Rick Hoffman, "Suits", BATTLESHIP) kidnaps three people in order to find out who hired him for his latest hit; a new recruit (Bart Johnson, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL) is initiated into a lodge of fez-wearing businessmen where hazing can take a malevolent turn; and a member of a suicide club (Jason Marsden, "Boy Meets World", WHITE SQUALL) introduces real fear into a man about to jump to his death. The four stories suddenly come into play when Skip is faced with a life-or-death decision of his own.

With tales written by Bruce Dellis, Jason Marsden, Adam Montierth, Donovan Montierth, Jose Rosete, John Waldron, Jason Walters, and Cameron Young, LOCKER 13 certainly sounds intriguing enough and this trailer certainly sells me on wanting to check this one out.

Look for it on various platforms tomorrow and pre-order the DVD right HERE.
