Trailer: Rock, Paper, Dead from director Tom Holland & writer Victor Miller

03.03.2017by: Mike Sprague

Tom Holland has made some of the best horror films of all time with CHILD'S PLAY and FRIGHT NIGHT under his belt. He has also directed two solid Stephen King adaptations with THINNER and THE LANGOLIERS.

Now if the news of Tom Holland's new horror flick doesn't excite you (for some odd reason) then how about the fact that the film is written by none other than Victor FRIDAY THE 13TH Miller?!

Yes, not only are the writer of FRIDAY THE 13TH and the director of CHILD'S PLAY teaming up on a flick, but FRIDAY THE 13TH composer Harry Manfredini is joining the party as well!  That is one hell of a horror triple-header.

SYNOPSIS

A serial killer Peter “The Doll Maker” Harris, who returns to his ancestral family estate after being released from the state’s hospital for the criminally insane, after twenty years, as a cured man. Once inside the old house, anguished memories from a tortured childhood and visitations from past victims shake Peter’s resolve, but it isn’t until the lovely young Ashley enters his life that Peter makes a fateful decision that rekindles old desires that have always ended in murder.

Add to all of that the film stars Michael Madsen and Najarra Townsend (see below), and I think we have the potential for a new horror classic here. You can check out the trailer below and decide for yourself.
