Trailer: Stan Lee produced The Sandman starring Tobin Bell & Amanda Wyss

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Well, this came out of nowhere!

Turns out that Stan Lee (yes, THAT Stan Lee) produced an original horror flick called THE SANDMAN recently and said motion picture will be hitting SyFy next month on Saturday, October 14th at 9 PM.

If the father of Marvel comics producing a fright flick isn't enough of a draw for some of you, then get this: The film stars not only Tobin Bell (SAW: LEGACY) but classic scream queen/Freddy victim Amanda Wyss (A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET) as well. How crazy is that? This had better be good…

You can check out the poster and the trailer for THE SANDMAN below and then let us know what you think in the comments below or on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

THE SANDMAN synopsis:

After her father is found dead, eight-year-old 'Madison' (Shae Smolik) goes to live with her aunt 'Claire' (Haylie Duff), a struggling artist in a nearby city. It isn’t long before Claire realizes that the young girl has unusual powers, including the ability to manifest a frightening boogeyman she calls “The Sandman.” Claire quickly begins to suspect that the Sandman might be responsible not only for the death of Madison’s father but many other victims across the country.

With a clandestine government agency closing in on the young girl, Claire and Madison will have to work together to find a way to stop the Sandman before he claims his next victim. Factor in the sinister 'Valentine' (Tobin Bell) who leads a cadre of bureaucrats who do not mean well and soon, strange things start happening whenever Madison is around. Things move around by themselves. Cabinet doors open and close. Almost as if there’s some kind of supernatural entity in the house. It's a journey you'll have to fully experience to understand.

THE SANDMAN is written & directed by Peter Sullivan and stars Tobin Bell, Amanda Wyss, Shaun Sipos, Ricco Ross, and Haylie Duff, and is executive produced by Stan Lee.

THE SANDMAN premieres on SyFy Saturday, October 14th.
