Directed by Ross Patterson (HELEN KELLER VS. NIGHTWOLVES) from a screenplay he wrote with Billy Jay and Nick Palmisciano, RANGE 15 is a zombie horror/comedy that shows what happens when

a group of Veterans wake up after a night of partying to find out that the zombie apocalypse has spread across the United States. Together, they must fight their way across the country to find a cure for the outbreak and restore freedom before it's too late.

While the story may sound like something you've seen before, this film does have something extra that sets it apart from the zombie movie crowd - it was primarily produced by U.S. military veterans and has many veterans in the cast, including twenty-five amputees.

Among the film's stars are Sean Astin, Danny Trejo, William Shatner, Keith David, Ron Jeremy, Mindy Robinson, Dale Dye, Medal of Honor recipients Leroy Petry and Clint Romesha, Lone Survivor Marcus Luttrell, and UFC fighters Tim Kennedy and Randy Couture.

Funded through an Indiegogo campaign that raised more than $1.1 million, RANGE 15 had a very successful limited theatrical run in June and is now coming to home video. DVDs and Blu-rays can be pre-ordered through the official site.

Pretty good!

I got to see this during its theatrical run and it was pretty funny. It knows what it is and doesn't try to be anything else. I will say that if you are a military veteran, you're more likely to enjoy more than I did. Some of the joke in the movies were strictly for the military and sometimes went over my head because of it.
