Much to my surprise, it would seem a lot of you are genuinely excited about the upcoming TREMORS 5: BLOODLINES. Whenever we post an article related to the straight-to-Blu-ray sequel, you folks go nuts. Is it goodwill toward the original, or have you been enjoying the subsequent sequels as well? Maybe you just love you some graboids? These are the questions I need answered.

Whatever it is, we're digging it, and this should put a smile on your faces: Two new clips from the film, featuring Michael Gross and Jamie Kennedy. This first clip doesn't actually feature graboid action, but it hints at the deadly things to come. I just really like how Gross uses the word "assblaster" in such a somber way. The second clip, however, will give you the goods you seek.

The stakes are raised for survivalist Burt Gummer (Michael Gross) in his most dangerous monster hunt yet. When Gummerís hired to capture a deadly Assblaster terrorizing South Africa, he and his new sidekick, Travis Welker (Jamie Kennedy), find themselves in a battle to the death against the fiercely aggressive Assblasters and Graboids. Discovering that the monsters have evolved into even more lethal creatures, their mission takes on a whole new level of unseen terror -- far more than they bargained for.

Directed by Don Michael Paul, TREMORS 5 will be released on October 6th; pre-order it right HERE.

The original is one of my favorite creature features and I've somewhat enjoyed the sequels as well for what they were. Love the hokey science explaining the life cycle of the Graboids and am definitely looking forward to the next evolutionary step. Now, if only a great hero, named Kevin Bacon would return to the series and teach those ass blasters how to dance....
