Last month, Trick or Treat Studios started accepting pre-orders for their replica of the worn down, 40-year-old mask slasher Michael Myers will be wearing in Blumhouse's upcoming HALLOWEEN sequel, but at that time they weren't allowed to release images of their mask. Even though Myers' mask had already been shown on the film's first poster.

Trick or Treat said they wouldn't be able to show the replica until July 23rd, but the recent release of the HALLOWEEN trailer obviously moved up their timeline a bit, because their mask has now been officially unveiled on their social media.

Sporting damaged, wrinkled latex, discoloration (including around the left eye hole, from the blood when Laurie Strode jammed a clothes hanger into Myers' eye back in 1978), and a knitting needle hole in the side of the neck, this mask matches how Michael Myers looks in the new film.

Blumhouse's HALLOWEEN will be in theatres on October 19th, and Trick or Treat Studios will be shipping out their replica masks in September/October.

Ignoring the events of every other HALLOWEEN film except the 1978 original, the new sequel sees the return of Jamie Lee Curtis to the role of

Laurie Strode, who comes to her final confrontation with Michael Myers, the masked figure who has haunted her since she narrowly escaped his killing spree on Halloween night four decades ago.

Curtis's co-stars include Judy Greer as Laurie's daughter Karen; Andi Matichak as Karen's daughter Allyson; Miles Robbins, Virginia Gardner, Dylan Arnold, and Drew Scheid as Allyson's Haddonfield High classmates; Will Patton and Rob Niter as police officers; Rhian Rees as a character named Dana; and Diva Tyler as a caretaker; with stuntman James Jude Courtney and original Michael Myers performer Nick Castle taking turns wearing the mask.

Original HALLOWEEN director John Carpenter executive produced and is composing the score for this sequel, which was directed by David Gordon Green from a screenplay written by Green, Danny McBride, and Jeff Fradley.

If you'd like to own a replica mask, you should get your pre-order in now at TrickOrTreatStudios.com, because the company expects to sell out of them well before October.
