Trick 'R Treat on B-ray?

04.09.2009by: Mike Catalano

Michael Dougherty's TRICK íR TREAT has gone through so much shit since its completion, one may think the entire movie would be pulling a real Halloween prank. Hailed by basically everyone who's seen it as a new landmark in horror, the film has just never been able to attain a fitting theatrical release. I'm through blaming executives and studios. At this point, I think it's just a waste of time.

However, we may f*cking finally have some good news for those, including me, who have yet to experience TRICK 'R TREAT. According to DVDtalk, Warner Home Video is starting a new "buy 5, get 1 free" Blu-ray program for 2009, and guess watch landmark flick just so happens to be on the list... WATCHMEN. Oh, and TRICK 'R TREAT, of course! So, if this is actually true, then we could all be getting our TRICK on before the year's end! Oh wait, I don't have a blu-ray player. Shit! Um, well, hopefully this news means it'll also be on DVD too. Cheers!

Sexy Anna Paquin stars in one of TRICK's tales.

Extra Tidbit: I really can't friggin' wait to see this damn flick.

Here is a movie with lots of praise, and people wanting to see this movie for so long now, and they can't give it a release around Halloween in theaters? Yet, they release crap like Watchmen, I hated the movie?

And Jesus Christ they should've released this movie during Halloween, then they would have my money, along with a LOT of others. God i hate Hollywood... and if it's not hollywoods fault, then i'm assuming maybe The Weinstine Company... whomever it was, they should be ashamed... but they're not

Not to burst the bubble but...

The Redemption Period expires on, and must be redeemed before April 6, 2011.

And one of the movies on the list, Jonah Hex, hasn't even gone into production. BAH!
