Kino Lorber Studio Classics has just announced that they will finally be bringing the 1975 made-for-TV horror anthology TRILOGY OF TERROR to Blu-ray and DVD this October with an all-new 4K transfer. For those who might not be aware, TRILOGY OF TERROR is famous for not only Karen Black (HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES) playing multiple roles across all three tales of terror, but more specifically you know the movie for its entry "Amelia", which features Black as a woman who falls prey to a murderous Zuni fetish doll.

You can check out all of the special features included on this new release below, including new audio commentary by film journalist Richard Harland Smith, and a new interview with composer Bob Cobert.

TRILOGY OF TERROR includes:

three tales of horrific suspense in this highly rated and critically acclaimed made-for-television anthology that also showcases the tremendous acting talent of Karen Black (Burnt Offerings, The Day of the Locust), who plays four distinct roles. In Julie, an aggressive college student seduces and ultimately blackmails his seemingly shy English professor; in Millicent and Therese, two polar-opposite sisters become increasingly hell-bent on the undoing of one another; and in Amelia, a woman falls prey to a murderous Zuni fetish doll.

Special features:

Audio commentary by film journalist Richard Harland Smith (new)

Audio commentary with actress Karen Black and writer William F. Nolan

Interview with composer Bob Cobert (new)

Richard Matheson: Terror Scribe featurette

Three Colors Black featurette

Legendary producer/director Dan Curtis (DARK SHADOWS) directs the film, which teams him up with writers Richard Matheson (I AM LEGEND) and William F. Nolan. Along with the above-mentioned Karen Black, the trilogy features a strong supporting cast including George Gaynes, John Karlen, and Gregory Harrison. Once again, Kino Lorber Studio Classics will finally be releasing the 1975 made-for-TV horror anthology TRILOGY OF TERROR to Blu-ray and DVD with an all-new 4K transfer October 2nd.
