Tripper Trailer

When I first heard that David Arquette was directing a horror flick about hippies who go out to the woods and get served up a mean plate of cold murder I was like “Yeah, I’m sure that will be a winner,” but after checking out the trailer and some other clips of the film at THE TRIPPER’s Official Myspace page, I gotta say, it looks like some fun. I’m not saying it’s going to scare the piss out of me, but I don’t think that’s the intent. I think he was going for a comedy-horror feel, especially since the trailer is way Jason Mewes heavy.

As I alluded to earlier, the film is about a group of hippie/bohemian types who head out into the redwood laden forest to have a drug ridden, sex filled escapade, but are rudely interrupted by a string of killings.

Along with Jason Mewes, the cast isn’t too shabby either, as Thomas Jane, Jaime King, Paul “Pee Wee” Reubens, and Lucas Haas are all on board. And of course David Arquette is in it, and looking rather “Deputy Dewey-like” in his cop gear. Anyways, you all can check it out for yourselves by going HERE.
