I just got finished telling you all about one annoucement coming out of Comic-Con and here I am to tell you about another! Seriously guys, I hope you’re ready for the onslaught of goods that’ll be coming out of the Con… we are!

Anyway today’s update comes from the guys over at Deadline and involves John Layman and Rob Guillory’s graphic novel CHEW. So what’s the good word? Well it seems Circle of Confusion, who’re the ones behind the upcoming “Walking Dead” series, are gearing up to bring us another television series based on a comic! I’m of course talking about CHEW!

Chew tells the darkly comic story of federal agent Tony Chu, a “cibopath” able to get psychic impression from the things he eats who is assigned to the most usual and bizarre crimes.

Stephen Hopkins has already signed on the direct the project as well as executive produce, though a writer is currently being sought after. As far as details go that’s pretty much all we’re told, but hey, for now that’s plenty!

What do you guys think? Anyone out there have a chance to check out CHEW? Should we be excited for this adaptation? Hit us with your opinions below and keep it here for more on the project as we hear it!
