Earlier this week we gave you a look behind the scenes of the currently shooting REC 4: APOCALYPSE with a video and new set photo, and today we have the first clip from the film as well as two more photos to share with you, one of which is the first 'official' image from the film. Check them out below!

First up, we have the first clip for you. Unfortunately, there is no sound in this clip, but it does give you an idea of what kind of carnage to expect with this latest installment in the franchise. Check it out.

And now we have some new pics for ya to peep, coming to us from Aullidos. After throwing the text from the pics into a Spanish to English translator (Me no habla Espanol...thanks, Google Translate!) I learned that the first pic below is being called the first 'official' image from the film, while the second photo is a set pic showing director Jaume Balagueró doing his thing in a dark and spooky location.

REC 4: APOCALYPSE will conclude the franchise and is expected to hit Spain on October 10th, 2014.

Angela Vidal (Manueala Velasco), the young television reporter who first entered the building with the firemen, manages to make it out alive. But what the soldiers don't know is that she carries the seed of the strange infection. She is to be taken to a provisional quarantine facility, a high-security installation where she will have to stay in isolation for several days. An old oil tanker, miles off shore and surrounded by water on all sides, has been especially equipped for the quarantine.

Extra Tidbit: Are you a fan of the REC franchise?

Kinda excited

You know, I really enjoyed Rec 3, until the ending... where an absolutely rocking violent funny piece of dismemberment cinema, that actually made you care about the leads, turned into a hollywood "A good twist ending is killing everyone" rule. Hope this flick has the balls to end well, as its something we dont see often in horror.
