To be completely honest I haven’t been following up on Paul Weitz’s CIRQUE DU FREAK: THE VAMPIRE’S ASSISTANT. Wait… this thing has a subtitle now? When did that happen?

THE VAMPIRE’S ASSISTANT is about a young boy named Darren Shan who meets a mysterious man at a freak show who turns out to be a Vampire. After a series of events Darren must leave his normal life and go on the road with the Cirque Du Freak and become a Vampire. Vampires, freak shows and Salma Hayek. What’s not to love? Today the good folks over at Kinopoisk got their hands on a new international one sheet for THE VAMPIRE’S ASSISTANT so I just went ahead and tossed that up above. Not as simple as the first poster but it’s not horrible.

The movie stars John C. Reilly, Josh Hutcherson, Ken Watanabe and Salma Hayek (below). It hits theaters this Christmas on December 23rd.
