Vin Diesel gets in fights and trouble in The Last Witch Hunter clips

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

THE LAST WITCH HUNTER will be stalking theatre screens starting October 23rd, and to whet our appetites for the action and horror that the film has in store for us, Lions Gate has released a couple of clips that give us a look at Vin Diesel's titular character in action while accompanied by Rose Leslie and Elijah Wood.

In the first clip, we see Diesel engage in fisticuffs with a burly, bearded beast of a man, and basically trippin' balls in the process. Witches clearly don't fight fair.

In the second, things go south after Diesel notices some dead flies on the floor. Who knew dead flies were such a bad omen?

Directed by Breck Eisner, THE LAST WITCH HUNTER has a story crafted by Cory Goodman, Matt Sazama, and Burk Sharpless:

The modern world holds many secrets, but the most astounding secret of all is that witches still live amongst us; vicious supernatural creatures intent on unleashing the Black Death upon the world. Armies of witch hunters battled the unnatural enemy across the globe for centuries, including KAULDER, a valiant warrior who managed to slay the all-powerful QUEEN WITCH, decimating her followers in the process. In the moments right before her death, the QUEEN curses KAULDER with her own immortality, forever separating him from his beloved wife and daughter in the afterlife. Today KAULDER is the only one of his kind remaining, and has spent centuries hunting down rogue witches, all the while yearning for his long-lost loved ones. However, unbeknownst to KAULDER, the QUEEN WITCH is resurrected and seeks revenge on her killer causing an epic battle that will determine the survival of the human race.

Diesel, Leslie, and Wood are joined in the cast by Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, Rena Owen, Julie Engelbrecht, Joseph Gilgun, and Michael Caine.
