Want to read a page from Carrie White’s notebook?

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Just a quick CARRIE update for folks who’re interested in following the remake’s progress. The flick’s Facebook page has been getting in on some viral action, posting a couple blurry photos to help deepen the backstory.

As you’ll see below, they’ve offered up a page from Carrie’s notebook, along with this caption: Over and over, it reads “mama says I’m a sinner…” Is this how Carrie would repent when Margaret locked her in the closet?

Below that is what looks like a school logo, and this mysterious caption: Nobody wants to believe it, not even now. You and all the people who’ll read what you write will wish they could laugh it off and call me just another nut who’s been out here in the sun too long. But it happened.

Hmm, wonder what they could be talking about?

CARRIE is a reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.

Uh, spoiler alert!

Chloë Grace Moretz, Judy Greer, Portia Doubleday, Alex Russell, Gabriella Wilde, Ansel Elgort and Julianne Moore all star in CARRIE, out March 2013.
