"I need to see out of control."
It appears Warner Bros.' U.K. division has offered up a sweet weekend treat for all us INCEPTION enthusiasts...and I for one couldn't be more stoked. So what kind of goodies are we talking about here? An extended 60 second TV ad, that's what! Playing like a mini-trailer, we're able to see a host of new footage Chris Nolan's subconscious head-f*ck. Get a gander underneath!
In case you can't wait to see the new material I speak of, let me break it down for you. In this new spot, we get to witness scenes with Leo on a snow covered mountain, doing only God knows what. We also see the destruction of some kind of tower in the same winter setting, as well as the erection of some sort of bridge as Ellen Page's character ambles towards it (in a metropolitan area). Oh, and we get the first line of dialogue from Joseph Gordon Levitt's character, who I honestly believe may be the most impressive in the entire film. If you haven't guessed, the line atop the page is the one Levitt utters.
Due July 16th, Dom Cobb (DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible—inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. This summer, your mind is the scene of the crime.
Marion Cotillard, Michael Caine, Ken Watanabe, Cillian Murphy, Tom Berenger, Tom Hardy and Lukas Haas balance out the A-list ensemble.
Welcome your weekend with the new ad below!
