Nothing really big or exciting comin' at ya this week... unless, of course, you count TRANSFORMERS!!! That's right, the ultimate battle between good vs. evil is being launched nationwide, and word around the campfire is: not only is it entertaining as hell, but it's good, too! Hot damn! On the DVD front, it's slim pickens out there this holiday week: WELCOME TO THE GRINDHOUSE double feature, Sid Haig keepin' it real with DEAD MAN'S HANDS, some weird flick called THE TOMB, and those sick toilet surfin' f*cks are back at it again with GHOULIES IV. All these reasons and more to get out of the house, and into a theater near you this week!

Grindhouse is an American term for a theater that mainly showed exploitation films. To salute this film revolution of a bygone era, this DVD double feature recreates this ephemeral experience of the Grindhouse theaters with a whole new interactive DVD experience. Included are Black Candles - Carol and her boyfriend Paul travel to England after the unexpected death of her brother. Once there she finds out her sister-in-law is involved in a satanic cult, and finds out that Paul is being drawn into the cult. Helga Line and Vanessa Hidalgo star in this Jose Ramon Larraz film; and Evil Eye (Il Malocchio) - Peter Crane is having nightmares about murdering someone.

After Inheriting a casino from his dead uncle, Matthew Dragna, his girl friend J.J(Robin Sydney) and a group of friends take a road trip to the outskirts of Las Vegas, where they find the run-down Mysteria Casino. But the trip takes a frightening turn when the kids discover that the casino is haunted by the ghosts of Vegas mobsters Roy The Word Donahue(Sid Haig) and his goon Gil Wachetta(Michael Berryman), looking to settle an old score. Matthew and J.J. must fight for their very souls as the ghosts seek their gruesome vengeance, and in the vein of The Shining, this horrifying tale builds to a bloody and surprising climax.
