Sydney Park

A new addition to the cast of The Walking Dead for season 7, actress Sydney Park hasn't yet made her debut on the AMC series and we already know what her next genre project will be – Park has signed on to co-star in director John R. Leonetti's WISH UPON.

Written by Barbara Marshall, WISH UPON has the following synopsis:

Twelve years after discovering her mother’s suicide, 17-year-old CLARE SHANNON is bullied in high school, embarrassed by her manic, hoarder father JONATHAN and ignored by her longtime crush. All that changes when her father comes home with an old music box whose inscription promises to grant its owner seven wishes. While Clare is initially skeptical of this magic box, she can’t help but be seduced by its dark powers, and is thrilled as her life radically improves with each wish. Clare finally has the life she’s always wanted and everything seems perfect – until the people closest to her begin dying in violent and elaborate ways after each wish. Clare realizes that she must get rid of the box, but finds herself unable and unwilling to part with her new-and-improved life – leading her down a dark and dangerous path.

Joey King stars as Clare, with Ryan Phillippe as her father Jonathan. Park will be playing Meredith, one of Clare's best friends.

King, Phillippe, and Park are joined in the cast by Shannon Purser, Elisabeth Röhm, Mitchell Slaggert, Josephine Langford, Ki Hong Lee, Sherilyn Fenn, and Alice Lee… It sounds like that evil music box is going to have plenty of potential victims to choose from.

You may not know Park from The Walking Dead yet, but the 19-year-old already has ten years of acting credits to her name, including a 65 episode run on the Nickelodeon series Instant Mom. It has been proven that she can handle family friendly material, and soon we'll see how well she fares against zombies and supernatural forces.
