Last Updated on July 23, 2021

There’s no denying it, we love the moon. We especially love genre flicks about the moon. The mystery surrounding that big hunk of grey matter is just too appealing to pass up. So when news breaks on a new flick coming our way centering on the mysteries of the moon… Well you can bet your ass we’re going to tell you about it!

I’m talking about a project called DARK MOON, which The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision blog has being picked up by Warner Bros. But that’s not all! Apparently the studio have already tapped Olatunde Osunsanmi with the task of writing and directing this little diddy. Well sh*t… that works for me! You guys want the goods on this one? Of course you do!

“Moon” falls into the burgeoning genre of “found footage movies,” which are purported to be reels or tapes or files found after the person operating the camera expired. The film takes on the idea that manned moon missions did not stop with Apollo 17 and follows a black ops post-Apollo mission sent to the moon to explore previously classified discoveries and its unintended and disturbing consequences.

Super-producer Akiva Goldsman is behind this one via his Weed Road shingle.

And the verdict is? What do you guys think about DARK MOON? Sounding like it has some potential or are you going to wait to hear more on this one before choosing a side? Hit us with your thoughts on the project below and keep it here for more on DARK MOON as we hear it!
