Today marks the premiere of a brand new series on our JoBlo Horror Videos YouTube channel: Real Slashers! The first episode of this series is embedded above, but you're going to have click over to YouTube to watch it because this is our first YouTube Age Gated Series, so you need to be at least 18 for YouTube to let you see it. That's because slashers are often packed with gore and nudity, so we couldn't shy away from those things in episodes of Real Slashers.

The first episode of the series digs into Sleepaway Camp 2: Unhappy Campers (watch or buy it HERE), the funny and bloody 1988 follow-up to 1983's Sleepaway Camp. Directed by Michael A. Simpson from a screenplay by Fritz Gordon, the film stars Pamela Springsteen (sister of Bruce!) as slasher Angela Baker.

Angela escapes from a mental hospital and surfaces at a summer camp as a counselor who lectures her teenage charges on proper moral behavior. Those teens who break her strict rules — from the camp chatterbox or a sex-obsessed girl to the boys who are peeping Toms — are murdered by the impostor in various gruesome ways. As more campers go missing, intrepid counselor Molly (Renee Estevez) begins to piece together the truth.

Here's what Real Slashers is all about:

Ahhh the 80's. A simpler time where the blood ran red, the boobies swung freely, and the weed was copiously smoked. A time where rampant killers were simply excuses for excessive sex and over the top murder. Yes, we're looking at an era where the slasher movie ran wild over cinemas everywhere. Today, we're looking at "Real Slashers."

The show is Written, Narrated, and Edited by Tyler Nichols, Produced by John Fallon, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
